The superb barrier qualities of Pig Oil, with the added benefit of a very effective anti-bacterial agent, Flowers of Sulphur, to help protect horses in very wet or muddy conditions.
The key to keeping horses free from the infections of bacteria from mud in winter is to have a good barrier and a good anti bacterial ingredient. That is precisely what we have with new Mud Slide Lotion, so when the horse comes in at night that mud just slides right off! Pig Oil or mineral oil by its technical name is an extremely good barrier and sulphur is a very good anti bacterial. Together they work extremely well.
It is best used in conjunction with Equimins Winter Leg Scrub concentrate.

- Flowers of sulphur
Directions for use:
- Mud Slide Lotion should be well rubbed in to the lower leg parts that will be exposed to the mud. You may find it easier to use rubber gloves as it is such a good barrier, it takes some washing off your hands!
- When you bring your horse into the stable for the night, wash off with some warm soapy water or Tea Tree Shampoo and then apply Winter leg scrub concentrate diluted in a small amount of water and leave on overnight.
